Excellent value hotel in central location. Metro station outside the front door. Interior of hotel recently refurbished to high standard. High standard of maintenance and cleanliness.Excellent quality buffet breakfast, with hot options-eggs sausage, bacon, etc. Only drawback-traffic noise if you sleep with windows open. When closed, effective double glazing keeps noise to background hum-no problem for a light sleeper like me.

Top Tip:
Don't bother with sightseeing buses-unless you want to get round to museums.(Buses avoid older districts.)Excursion to Sintra an absolute must- highlights: Pena Palace and Quinta Regelaria Gardens. Public transport very efficient and cheap. All day combined metro and bus/tram ticket 3.85 euros. Guided walks by Lisbon Walker company highly recommended-especially of Old Town (Alfama) area. Mojito Company bar in Barrio Alto plays great salsa music and has a dance floor. Enjoy your trip!
