Up a steep hill in a quiet area. A bit of a pull after a meal out. Small rooms but good facilities, safe/mini bar flat screen tv and air con. Good choice at breakfast.
Top Tip
Lots of restaurants near Rossio. Food was excellent, good value and choice.

A very unattractive building in a noisy location (but all Lisbon is noisy). On the plus side, airy room with good natural light, good artificial light (so rare in hotel bedrooms) and super views over the rooftops from the 5th floor.
Top Tip
Quite well placed for the main squares, boulevards and restaurants. Also for the botanical gardens, which are somewhat in need of a face lift. A small park in rua Alegria has a little craft market and trees in spectacular pink blossom (Sept/Oct). Cafe Alegria is unpretentious but very friendly and patronised by Portuguese.
