Our Review

This city centre hotel is situated down a small street just off the Avenida da Liberdade. The public areas are a wash of marble and light colours which adds to the luxury atmosphere. In contrast to the lobby, the dark wood antique furniture give the rooms a quality cosy feel while offering all the modern amenities you would expect from a 4 star hotel.

The Plaza Hotel occupies an enviable position in the centre of the city. A 6-storey block constructed in the early 1950's, the hotel has perfected its friendly welcoming atmosphere over the years. The interior of the hotel is quietly elegant with marble floors and classic furnishings. With 112 tastefully decorated, spacious guestrooms, fully equipped with all the facilities you would expect from a 4* hotel, you are assured a comfortable stay. Guests can dine in the restaurant before enjoying a drink in the traditional-style bar. This is a popular hotel with a warm friendly atmosphere.
